About Me

My name is Jonathan, but you can call me Jon. I began my career in forestry, learning how to balance sustainability, negotiation, and community impact. I transitioned into procurement and enterprise automation, where I led multi-million-dollar digital transformation projects and mentored global teams.

Today, I work as a Pricing Analyst in the medical equipment manufacturing industry, supporting pricing operations through data analysis and process automation. Through Double Tree Industries, I also deliver consulting and personal branding services to help businesses modernize their operations and professionals share their story with clarity and impact.

Whether in forests, conference rooms, or digital landscapes, my work has always been about connecting people to the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to thrive.

Selected Work
PriceScreen: AI-Assisted EDI Pricing Triage
Pricing Operations, Fortune 500 Life Science Company (2026)
A continuous improvement project was working the EDI pricing mismatch queue, where the exceptions that matter sit buried in the ones that don't. AI wasn't part of the plan. I made the case for it, built the triage logic with the project team, and presented the result to roughly 150 people at an internal finance technology event. PriceScreen reads the queue, groups exceptions by likely root cause, and surfaces the ones worth a person's time.

Stack: ChatGPT Enterprise, SQL, Excel/Power Query, GHX EDI data
Enterprise Automation Portfolio
Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company
Owned the intake, prioritization, and lifecycle of 30+ production automations across finance, procurement, and operations. $2.25M+ in annual value and 45,000+ hours returned to the business. The work was less about the bots than about deciding which processes deserved to exist at all.
Paper to GIS in the Timber Woods
Forest Products Company
Replaced paper stand maps with ESRI GIS across a procurement operation that had run on clipboards for decades. First real lesson in change management: the technology was the easy part.
Professional Experience
Pricing Analyst II
Fortune 500 Life Science Company (2026-Present)
Analyze high-volume pricing and customer data in a regulated life science environment, and build the tooling and documentation the process runs on. Mapped undocumented pricing workflows into standing process documentation for a team that had been running on institutional memory. See PriceScreen above.
Business Analysis Specialist
Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company (2019-2024)
Led end-to-end product lifecycle strategy for 30+ automations, enabling $2.25M+ in annual value and 45,000+ hours in time savings. Designed SQL-based data pipelines and Power BI dashboards, reducing support incidents by 80%. Acted as product owner for a 15-member global Agile team with 90% sprint completion rate.
Procurement Analyst
Industrial Gas Manufacturing (2018-2019)
Synthesized multi-source procurement data into executive Tableau dashboards to improve visibility into financial exposure and support risk mitigation planning. Supported major corporate merger by classifying and organizing procurement contracts to streamline integration.
Timber Procurement & GIS Implementation
Forest Products Company (2014-2017)
Negotiated timber contracts up to $250,000 and led transition from paper to digital mapping using ESRI GIS, modernizing forestry operations and improving procurement efficiency.
